Here’s one more takeaway from the historical 2020 presidential election:
One candidate touted his record of success, yet his character came into question after repeatedly spewing divisive, mean-spirited rhetoric.
One candidate touted his unifying, empathetic character, yet his policy record, platform rollout, and resulting success remain to be seen.
In this election, character won. Unity and empathy won.
Trust is constructed with character and layered with competence over time.
Without trust, there is no leadership.
Without people, there is no trust.
People first.
Character and connection before, during, and after content.
